Sep 04, 2011 Forecast Calls for Showers Weather person said it was suppose to rain during labor day weekend. So far they have been completely wrong. This makes me wonder about how prepared I need to be when going out for the day when I have my kid. First of all, do I even need to be prepared? Is it worth packing rain gear when it looks beautiful outside, and when I feel the weather person is usually wrong? Second, even if it rains, we can just head indoors quickly. Why bother carrying all this extra stuff. We can just get back in the car, and spend time at a museum for example. Third, how fragile are kids when it rains? I do not think they will melt in the rain.
