Jul 24, 2012 Multitasking Multitasking that involves watching my mobile son, and doing something else is very difficult. For example, while I put away some clothes my son will rome around on the floor and go towards the most dangerous parts in our bedroom. Or when I decide to read, all he wants to do is play with my book rather than his plethora of toys. I like multitasking, but I realized it's not working that well for me, and perhaps it's a good thing. My son needs and wants 100% attention, and as a parent I probably should give it when I have the chance. As I speak only for myself, rather than surfing the internet I should help my son explore and learn. He will be better off in the long run. I know that raising a child is time-consuming, so I guess I just need to be more efficient to accomplish all the other things I need and want to do.
