Daddy's Pride

  • Rope Help

My son tries to do things that goes beyond his physical ability. I'm glad he likes to challenge himself, but what really impresses me is that he actually asks for help. In this picture he's trying to climb a net rope at the park, but he knows he cannot do it alone. So, he brought me over to assist him. And as a parent, it is my job to be there when he asks for help or notice when he does need help. By next year, he will be able to climb this net rope with his eyes closed, but at the same time he will need help with something else. My wife and I will be there for him regardless of how challenging the problem is for even us.
