Daddy's Pride / Curious George

I have been making room I can't believe the DVR is full!. It would be pretty simple to delete our programs, however all the shows belong to our son. :) It's too bad I need to start wiping out some of his favorite cartoons and movies like Curious George and Rio. I wish I could keep them all because he really loves watching reruns. I guess all good things must come to an end. Hopefully, the little man understands what needs to be done.

This past weekend we just stayed indoors because it was freezing outside, and we didn't want the little man to catch a cold. So, here are a few things we did to entertain our son. 1. Watched Curious George, and some other PBS cartoon shows. 2. Played soccer 3. Wrestled 4. Tried to read to him 5. Played hide and seek Also, tried to increase his vocabulary. :)

I started reading to my son at night. I know he does not understand the stories, but the sound of my voice seems to capture his attention. I started reading him Curious George, and I think he enjoyed it. My goal is to start getting in the habit of reading to him and talking to him. Hopefully these baby steps will build a strong father and son relationship. Also, I think this will help me better understand my son’s listening skills, improve my patience level, and be a more involved parent. Let’s see how it goes.
